You may have heard (or read) us talk about MEBSH. Mission Evangélique Baptiste Sud d’Haïti (MEBSH) or The Evangelical Baptist Mission of South Haiti is RMI’s Haitian partner church association. While they are not associated with a particular Baptist group in the US, they are baptistic in theology and practice. They are the largest church association in Haiti with 450+ churches.
Convención Bautista Dominicana (CBD), or the Baptist Convention of the Dominican Republic. They originally were founded by the International Mission Board efforts of the Southern Baptist Convention. They are now their own independent church association directed and led by Dominican nationals. They have 140 churches in their association. Forty of those are Haitian congregations. The CBD will be a great fit for RMI and provide RMI with a great diversity of ministry opportunities within both the Haitian and Dominican churches and communities in addition to providing recognition from the Dominican government.
As an RMI partner in Haiti, HarvestCall assists RMI by providing roofs and roofing materials for schools and churches, an occasional container of relief food, shipping of needed supplies in their containers, water wells, and a number of other services related to construction and community development.
FMSC is our main partner suppling RMI with the containers of food needed for both our school hot lunch program and food relief programs. The food is rice based, tasty, and very nutritious. Together, we are able to provide 16,000+ kids each school day with a hot lunch.
RMI desires to offer leadership development in a variety of ways. One of them is by partnering with Willow Creeks’s Global Leadership Summit and bringing it to the south of Haiti to impact hundreds of leaders in this area on a yearly basis.
RMI encourages members of the RMI family to speak with this team of experienced wealth managers and legacy professionals. They bring a well-balanced, Christ honoring, stewardship-centered approach to financial planning. By providing financial guidance with integrity and experience, we believe they can impact the lives and financial well-being of you and the ministry of RMI.
RMI is grateful for the long standing partnership that we’ve developed over the years with Food for the Poor – Haiti. This organization helps to process and transport our food containers that we recieve in Haiti.
